LiuGong holds the Final Round for LiuGong's Global Technical Skills Competition in Indonesia at LiuGong Customer Experience Center, Politeknik Negeri Jakarta, in order to cultivate skilled technicians. Politeknik Negeri Jakarta (PNJ) has been collaborating with PT. LiuGong Machinery Indonesia since 2022 in order to develop vocational education in the field of heavy equipment. Some time ago, LiuGong also partnered with LVTC to establish the LiuGong Global Customer Experience Center Indonesia, where PNJ provides the workshop facility, while all practical equipment is provided by LiuGong.

The LiuGong Global Customer Experience Center has become one of the training hubs for PNJ students and lecturers to enhance their competence in the field of heavy equipment technology. The tripartite collaboration between PNJ, LiuGong, and LVTC is even referred to as an ideal model of cooperation in vocational education development.

From October 19 to 20, 2023, LiuGong held the Final Round for LiuGong's 6th Global Technical Skills Competition 2023 in Indonesia at the LiuGong Global Customer Experience Center PNJ, in order to cultivate skilled and tested heavy equipment technicians. The Final Round of LiuGong's 6th Global Technical Skills Competition 2023 focused on the actual operation of LiuGong's machinery and major components. The practical examination consisted of Product Delivery Demonstration (performance display, machine inspection, and machine operation demonstration), Measurement, and Troubleshooting, including finding the correct part number on engine, transmission, and hydraulic components using the EPC system and the overhauling system.

After showcasing their abilities, Team Excavator secured 3rd place and received a medal, certificate, and a cash prize of IDR 9 million (about RMB 4,500). Team Paver achieved 2nd place with a cash prize of IDR 15 million (about RMB 7,500), while the 1st place was claimed by Team Dover, earning a cash prize of IDR 22.5 million (about RMB 11,250). Both Team Dover and Team Paver are eligible to participate in LiuGong's 6th Global Technical Skills Competition 2023 in China.

H.E. Djauhari Oratmangun, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to China and Mongolia, conveyed that the competition is an implementation of the vision discussed by President Joko Widodo and President Xi Jinping regarding cooperation in the field of vocational training. H.E. Djauhari Oratmangun stated, "I would like to express my gratitude to PNJ, the relevant ministries and commissions, and LiuGong for realizing the shared vision of the leaders of the two countries. This vision was discussed in a meeting in 2018 and has been implemented within a short period of time. With this collaboration, we hope to further enhance the relationship between the two countries. Currently, China is Indonesia's main trading partner and one of the world's economic powerhouses. The relationship between the two countries will grow stronger if people-to-people connections continue to be strengthened."

Meanwhile, Dr. Dewi Liliana, Deputy Director 4 of PNJ, expressed gratitude for the assistance and opportunities provided by the Indonesian Ambassador to China during the industry collaboration. PNJ has seized these opportunities by implementing the collaboration since 2022. "Thank you to LiuGong for coming to Indonesia not only for business purposes but also for paying attention to human resource development and even establishing a customer experience center within the PNJ campus. In addition to that, attention was also given to the training of lecturers, enabling them to teach and provide training to 80 students in the 2022 Heavy Equipment study program. Among them, 20 students received scholarships from LiuGong for training in China," she said.

The winning team, selected based on the scores and rankings from the Final Round in Indonesia, will participate in LiuGong's 6th Global Technical Skills Competition 2023 in China. This event is a tangible proof of LiuGong's commitment to developing highly skilled human resources in the field of engineering and mechanics, particularly in the construction and heavy equipment industry. The Final Round of LiuGong's Global Technical Skills Competition in Indonesia involved 24 participants who had successfully passed the preliminary round and regional round. The 24 participants were divided into 8 groups to compete for the first, second, and third place. The winners of the first and second place in the Final Round of LiuGong's 6th Global Technical Skills Competition in Indonesia 2023 will represent Indonesia in the Global Technical Skills Competition that will take place from November 16 to 27, 2023, in China.
